working sessions

Danielle – Medea

In the Summer of 2016, a company of 10 actors came together at the Michael Chekhov School for a 4 week session, to work on individual projects. All actors had previous experience working with the Michael Chekhov Technique. The following video is a record of one of the working sessions, where the performer was both initiating and following her process with the material. The video is not edited for content or aesthetics but conveys the raw energy of the work session. Alongside the video you will hear the audio of a conversation the performer Danielle Carter had with fellow actress Gabriela Bonomo and camera man Martin D. Anderson.
