  1. I took care of my mom who had alzheimer’s dementia. I continuously had to move to meet her in the place she was because she could no longer meet me in the historical relationship we shared, I shifted and came to her and created a place we could both could live….we became children and I always carried a clown nose. We made up songs and phrases together about Pepper the cat and other little characters…we had phrases and sing songs that always grounded her in the present moment. It was a trying yet beautiful journey until the last stages. My mom died in my arms and I am so fortunate to have really been able to be present for her.
